Worst night ever!
If you want to go to a game, my advice is to hire a car so you can leave immediately! Went to Morelia v Tauren Wells, hoping to see Keane or Beckham, neither were playing! Scared beyond belief as we read about the LA gangs in Compton and we were right beside that area! Eventually got to the stadium after a bus and 3 subways, no one ever mentioned it was in one of the worst areas of LA. The team does not cater for their fans, no taxi rank, buses to subway station, etc. Dark after the game (stadium not even half full), no buses, no direction from anyone. Managed to stumble upon a taxi who advised us not to go back the way we came as the area was "unsafe". Thank god for him, he dropped us off at a well-lit subway platform. LA won, scored the winner in extra time, which was the only positive. The seats were also good, ticket said GA1 which meant open seating, pick a free seat anywhere in a certain section. If I'm ever in LA again, I won't be going to a match!
